The entrance test serves as the selection process for admission into General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) courses across government and private nursing institutes in Assam for the session 2026-27.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality & Domicile: Candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidate must have passed 10+2 with English and a minimum of 40% aggregate marks from a recognized board or council.
Candidates from State Open Schools and NIOS are also eligible. Science stream students are preferred.
Age Limit: The candidate must be between 17 and 35 years of age as of 31-12-2026.

Total Questions: 100 Objective Multiple Choice Questions (no negative marking).
