Eligibility criteria

• Eligible category: Only candidates who were selected through the Central Selection Board, KAAC, for VFA training, and who have successfully completed the prescribed one-year training course, may apply
• Age limit: As governed by the Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Service Rules, 2002, and applicable Government orders. Age is determined based on the HSLC Certificate/Admit Card or an equivalent certificate issued by a recognized board/council
• Educational qualification: As per Rule 8 of the Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Service Rules, 2002, along with successful completion of the one-year VFA training course

The fee must be paid only via KAAC Money Receipt. Bank Draft, Money Order, Cash, or Cheque will not be accepted towards the application fee.

Salary

Selected candidates will draw a Pay Band of ₹14,000–₹70,000, plus a Grade Pay of ₹6,200, along with other allowances as admissible under Assam Government/KAAC rules from time to time.

1. Obtain and fill the Standard Form (Assam Gazette Part-IX)
2. Attach the required testimonials, self-attested copies of all certificates/mark sheets, and one recent passport-size photograph affixed to the form, plus one more enclosed separately
3. Enclose the KAAC Money Receipt (₹10 for SC/ST, ₹20 for other categories) as application fee
4. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope (23 × 11 cm) bearing a ₹5 postal stamp
5. Mark the outer envelope clearly with "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF VETERINARY FIELD ASSISTANT (VFA)"
