Oil India Limited (OIL) has released an official advertisement (No. HRAQ/REC-WP-B/26-148) for a Special Recruitment Drive exclusively for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Eligible candidates from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are invited to apply for various workperson roles in Grade III and Grade VII at the Field Headquarters in Duliajan.

Vacancy Details & Pay Scale

A total of 49 vacancies are available across different technical and administrative roles.

1. Grade III (Pay Scale: ₹26,600 – ₹90,000)

• Junior Office Assistant: 33 Posts

• Junior Technician (Fitter): 06 Posts

• Junior Technician (Instrument Mechanic): 03 Posts

• Junior Technician (Surveyor): 02 Posts

• Junior Technician (Electronics Mechanic): 01 Post

2. Grade VII (Pay Scale: ₹37,500 – ₹1,45,000)

• Junior Engineer (Electrical): 04 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (As on 08-06-2026):

• Junior Office Assistant: Passed 10+2 in any stream and a Computer Application Diploma/Certificate (min. 6 months).

• Junior Technician Roles: Passed Class 10 and possess a relevant Trade Certificate (ITI) issued by NCVT/SCVT.

• Junior Engineer (Electrical): Passed Class 10 and a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Must have a valid Electrical Supervisor's Certificate (min. parts 1, 2, 3 & 4) issued by the Electrical Licensing Board, Govt. of Assam.

Age Limit (Inclusive of 10 years PwBD relaxation):

• General: 18 to 40 years.

• OBC (NCL): 18 to 43 years.

• SC/ST: 18 to 45 years.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks.

• Section A: General English, GK/Awareness, and Questions on OIL (20 Marks).

• Section B: Reasoning, Arithmetic, and Mental Ability (20 Marks).

• Section C: Domain/Technical Knowledge (60 Marks).

• Note: There is NO negative marking. The test will be bilingual (English & Assamese).

• Last Date to Apply: 08-06-2026 (23:59 hrs).

• Tentative Date of CBT: 12-07-2026.

Note: Candidates must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Card from Assam or Arunachal Pradesh. There is no application fee for this recruitment drive.
