Samagra Shiksha, Axom (Assam) has released an official notification inviting online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for contractual engagement under Samagra Shiksha, Axom.

Vacancy & Job Details

• Name of the Post: Education Expert (Quality and Pedagogy)

• Total Vacancy: 01 Post

• Place of Posting: State Mission Office

• Tenure: Initially engaged for a period of 11 (eleven) months only. (Note: The contractual engagement will not be regularized or absorbed under the Govt. of Assam in future).

Pay Scale & Remuneration

• Pay Band / Salary: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- per month (with Grade Pay of Rs. 13,300/-).

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications & Experience

• Education: * Post Graduate Degree in Arts or Science from any recognized university.

  • B.Ed. from any recognized university.

• Experience & Skills:

  • At least 5 years of working experience at the State or District level in a Govt. Institution, Govt. Recognized Society, Govt. Recognized Higher Education Institution, University, College, or Reputed Research Organization.

  • Proven expertise in MS Office.

2. Age Limit

• Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 62 years of age as on 01-01-2026.

• Age limit will be calculated strictly based on the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• A candidate must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient discharge of their duties.

• Selection Process: Marking pattern will be based on General Awareness, Personality & Aptitude, Subject matter in relevant field, Relevant Experience, etc.. Applicants must obtain a minimum of 50% of the total marks in the interview to be shortlisted.

• Claims for any correction will not be entertained after submitting the online registration/application.
